Nicolai Munch-Hansen (b. 1977)

Nicolai Munch-Hansen has achieved a well-deserved position as one of the most in-demand Danish bass players. Belonging to a generation of inventive, younger musicians, he moves freely between jazz and rock genres, playing both electric and upright bass, mastering the improvised as well as steady grooves. Munch-Hansen has been touring on a regular basis with various rock bands while also being part of constellations such as Beautiful Day, Gramski Beat and many other projects rooted in the Danish jazz scene. His first solo-album Wanna Do Right, But Not Right Now was released in 2007 and was very well received.
