The Stars are All New Songs (Vol. 1) is the fourth album release from Danish guitarist and composer Jakob Bro. In this case Bro has collaborated with some of the most prominent contemporary American jazz artists, including also a special Danish guest-performance. Gathered in the well renowned Avatar-studios the players worked intensely together during a week to create both thrilling and beautiful music with Bros compositions as the central point of departure. The songs are all based on original material written specifically with the participating artists in mind. In this way the overall musical expression seems simultaneously to be both highly personal and collective.

As indicated by the title, The Stars are All New Songs (Vol. 1) is the first in a series of three releases, forming an ambitious trilogy all of which will be released in near future.
